This is my favorite Starbucks! They are ninja fast, very friendly and always consistent with how they make my drink. Nice outside area in the summer time and easy to get into. The staff sticks around more so than other locations too. That says something. About the management there. Keep up the good work!

I go after my workout at the gym, they get you in and out... I get the tall medium roast coffee with steamed cream. Add a little raw sugar, vanilla powder and cinnamon and I'm set! Sometimes I'll also get the feta spinach wrap, not the best... Bagels are better!!

I've been going top this store since before the other Tinley store (next to the Hair Cuttery-across the street) closed. Janet is the only person left from that store (I think), but I've gotta give love to my favorite baristas ever: Lauren (my Muse), Janet (my Guru of Mellow), Sarah (my joke tester), Gabby (my go-to for cheery and smiley), Jennifer (always sweet), Mary (my freckled Irish Rose), Kim (like my little sister), John (my partner in comedy), Laurie (mgr.), Sue (what a trooper!), Lindsey (deep waters, yet the fastest barista I've ever seen) and Vinessa (my other joke tester), especially for their ability to be nice to customers even when they're tired out, frazzled and just want to go home. I thoroughly enjoy each and every one of you for who you are, at least as far as I can tell, you're all pretty darn great! It's all "One Love" when I go here, and since that's what I give, that's what I get You always do right by me, you respond to me positively and tolerate me even when I'm not the easiest customer to help. You never treat me like you don't care, and that is why I go out of my way to come to see all of you in Tinley Park. I love to make people laugh, and we've shared a lot of them. Laurie, your ability to successfully juggle being retail manager of the highest-grossing store in the Midwest, along with managing about 20 employees, and a wife and a mother while keeping a great attitude just fills me with admiration and amazement. Kudos to you for all your baristas do for us, the customers.

You know I love the starbuck on 87 and state, but my job is in orland and this is the only starbucks on my way to work and to tell the truth I use to go out of my way and not come to this one because for the life of me they couldnt make a decent latte or frap..the frap always come out watery, too watery... I thought all starbucks where the same until I came across this one. I dont understand why they cant make a decent latte or frap and it doesnt matter what flavor I get. I shouldnt have to go out my way to another starbucks thats actually passed my jobs to get a latte when there is one on the way but its what I do...altough I must say that they make a decent cup of tea so I cant complain about that but as far as lattes and fraps I will pass..

It's a Starbucks. Staff was friendly enough. Coffee is like coffee at every other Starbucks.

I've gotta give this location some props. Lately, it seems like they've managed to turn it around. All of the employees are super nice and surprisingly happy (for the most part)--that in itself is a big change. My drink is almost always perfect. The drive thru moves rather quickly and efficiently, especially around rush hour. Overall, I have to be honest and say that, almost a year later, I think this location has really turned around. Solid five stars for sure.

I come here pretty often when I want to use the WiFi and have a drink with some sweets, but the staff has been nothing but polite, but what I dont have a real love for are the obnoxious Tinley Park high schoolers who park their arrogant loud a**es in the establishment for the next two hours talking about nothing. The place is clean and the bathroom is clean as well. I like coming someplace where the surroundings is clean and inviting. I prefer a place where people come to enjoy a drink and have a moment to surf the internet. I like a place where like minded people come to enjoy a quiet place to study with their favorite drink. Overall the service has been pretty good and I would recommend this location if you're in the mood for a cup of coffee and you need to get your Starbucks on.

I completely agree with the remarks about poor service. There have been multiple times where I've gone in and have stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes before even being acknowledged. The staff usually isn't very friendly, or even particularly knowledgeable (I've had a barista that didn't know what a salted caramel hot chocolate was, and attempted to improvise. It didn't go well). Regardless, I do love Starbucks, so it's hard to give it one star. All in all, I'd recommend driving the extra mile or two, and hit up a different Starbucks. Avoid this location if you can!

Visited this starbucks around 10:30am on 1.28.13. Staff was overly friendly and it was the best latte I had in a while. Just wanted to say thanks for the great experience (I'm used to the city Starbucks were they arent so friendly). :)

In a nutshell, I've been to this starbucks about fifty bajillion times. Everybody who works there rocks and the drinks are always good. The drive thru moves fast in the morning which is a pro when I'm being an awesome hubby and picking up a little coffee for wifey on my way to work. Very friendly location, excellent service.

The staff at this Starbucks is always so nice and polite. I often visit this location along with many other Starbucks throughout Chicago and they are always great. I even went in one time and ordered my usual tea and I had lost my voice and before I could finish my order they asked if I wanted honey and lemon. Excellent customer service and great place to get some work done.

This is consistently the worst Starbucks ever. I come here when I visit my family every other weekend and I am always disappointed in the service. I continue to go because Starbucks coffee is Starbucks coffee, it rarely changes with location. I seem to always get the snottiest little barristas. Its not just one, but a few. For example, yesterday I ordered my drink with 2 shots of espresso. Not only did I say 2 shots as ordering, I clarified it again at the end of the order. When the guy handed me my drink he said "one shot" and I said, "no, I ordered two". He went on to tell me that I only got charged for one and I said "I ordered two". He then mumbled something about who was at fault and then handed me my drink with the 2nd shot. I don't mind paying for coffee, extra shots and all, but I do mind when I specify it twice in an order and I get attitude when they give me a wrong drink. Another time I went in and the girl told me that they did not make the drink I wanted. Hmmm... every other starbucks that I had ordered from does, including this one in the past. Instead of even arguing with her, I took a tall coffee instead. The one across the street was so much better when it was opened.

I have made peace with my tendency to prefer local mom and pop to big coffee. Most recent visit oroduced attentive yet efficient staff...adult staff not kids. Staff that know their stuff about coffee. Long time coffee professional Ralph is here from time to time. Ralph has been in the biz for 20+ years and is starbucks best asset. He gave me advice on how to pull shots 15 years ago when I owned a cafe. Things have improved overall here to focus the offerings. Fru fru still exists for the teens and women who come here for desserts.

The coffee is very inconsistent you would figure they would have the format down. Part of the staff is very friendly, they should give pointers to the crabby employees.

Apparently employees answering the phone at this location is optional. My question--if you're not going to answer it, why have it? I called to order coffee for my book club. I called four times and let it ring 15-20 times each call and no one answered. On the 5th call, someone picked up on about the 15th ring. Why have a phone if you're not going to answer it? Do tell.....

I started out this morning really sleepy and tired. I stopped at Starbucks to get a chi tea latte hot and that ham and cheese thing. Angie took my order, man she gives customer service a good name. She was friendly and very upbeat. She helped to make my day. She was so helpful when I didn't know the name of the ham and thing . Thank you very much Angie. Also the person that took my money was very nice and greeted me with a smile. This location not only gets 5 stars but a 10 for service. Keep up the good work.

This is the second time I've been here and the second time I've been disappointed. Today I was overcharged somehow. I'm not sure because I wasn't given a receipt. To add insult to injury, my drink was in a FULL cup of ice which is annoying considering the ice comes in pre-measured scoops. Other locations are great but this one has some work to do.
